4/21/14 Charity- you can have it!

Hope you all had a great week. We worked super hard this week and saw some success for our efforts. We have been working with a few people and finding a few more. We are super excited for this next week because we have a lot of work to do.

My companion, Hermana B, and I found a really cool scripture during out study.
47 But acharity is the pure blove of Christ, and it endureth cforeverand whoso
is found possessed of it at the last day, it shall be well with him.
48 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, apray unto the Father with all the energy
of heart, that ye may be filled with this love, which he hath bestowed upon all
who are true bfollowers of his Son, Jesus Christ; that ye may become the sons
of God; that when he shall appear we shall cbe like him, for we shall see him as he is; that we may have this hope; that we may be dpurified even as he is pure.Amen.
Moroni 7:47-48
I love that it says that this love, the pure love of Christ, has been bestowed upon those who truly follow Him. We have the opportunity to be filled with the love that God has for us. Love is the key part of this gospel.
28 ¶And one of the ascribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?

29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments

is, aHearIsrael; The Lord our God is one Lord:

30 And thou shalt alove the Lord thy God with all thy bheartand

with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy cstrength:this is

 the first commandment.

31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy
neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater
than these. Mark 12:28-31
I love the thought in the scripture from Moroni that we can pray with all the energy of our heart to be filled with love. Love that God has for us and also love that He has every other person that you see.
I know God loves us so much and I hope that even though Easter has already come and gone that we can remember all that He has done for us. He allowed that His Son came to earth to die for us. ¨Oh it is wonderful that He should care for me enough to die for me. Oh it is wonderful! Wonderful to me!¨  (I Stand All Amazed 193) Let`s remember it forever.
Con muchìsimo amor y un abrazo de oso
